Im Pandemiejahr 2020 war Gaming für mich und viele Zocker vermutlich noch wichtiger als sonst. Das wissen auch die Publisher, die in diesem Jahr mit vielen Titeln um Aufmerksamkeit und Geldbeutel gebuhlt haben. Welche Titel das angeblich wirklich verdient haben, entscheiden viele Spiele-Medien jährlich mit der Wahl zum „Spiel des Jahres“, wobei Titel in unterschiedlichsten Kategorien gewählt werden.

Eine der größten Preisverleihungen in diesem Feld ist „The Game Awards“. Auch in diesem Jahr hat man dort wieder in 30 Kategorien die besten Spiele und Spieler ausgezeichnet. Wer etwa 3,5 Stunden Zeit hat, kann sich die ganze Präsentation hier ansehen:
