Das Playstation VR Headset wird in Kürze erhältlich sein, passend dazu tauchen nun die ersten Testberichte der amerikanischen Kollegen auf. Wir haben uns die Tests durgelesen und geben euch hier einen Auszug der Eindrücke.

Insgesamt sind sich die Tester ungewöhnlich einig mit ihren Ergebnissen: Die Playstation VR Brille ist bislang die beste Komplettlösung, nicht zuletzt da sie deutlich günstiger als die Konkurrenz ist. Aber seht und lest am besten selbst.

Technisch muss sich die Playstation VR Brille also den Konkurrenten geschlagen geben. Das Blickfeld ist kleiner, die Auflösung geringer und der Kabelsalat größer. Die Brille ist außerdem schwerer, sitzt dafür aber wohl deutlich bequemer und ist auch für Brillenträger geeignet.

Die Vorteile der PS VR liegen dafür woanders: Die Auswahl an Spielen ist deutlich größer und die Tester sind sich einig, dass die Auswahl auch am schnellsten wachsen dürfte. Außerdem ist die PS VR im Gesamtpaket günstiger als die Kontrahenten. Neben einer Playstation 4, die viele bereits besitzen, benötigt man noch eine Playstation Camera und zwei Move Controller sowie natürlich das PS VR Headset. Alles zusammen liegt preislich etwa auf dem Niveau der HTC VIVE. Zur VIVE benötigt man allerdings noch einen für VR geeigneten PC, der nochmals mit locker 900 Euro und mehr zu Buche schlägt.

Auf die Frage, ob man denn nun eine Playstation VR kaufen sollte oder nicht gibt es unterschiedliche Antworten. Meist läuft es aber auf die Antwort hinaus, dass wenn man jetzt unbedingt in VR einsteigen möchte, man am besten zur Playstation VR greifen sollte.
