Apple hat heute Abend iOS 8.2 zum Download freigegeben. Als prominentestes neues Feature erweitert das jüngste Update iOS 8 auf iPhones um die Fähigkeit, mit einer Apple Watch zu kommunizieren. Davon abgesehen handelt es sich bei Version 8.2 allerdings um ein eher weniger bedeutendes iOS-Update ohne wirklich gravierende Neuerungen, dafür aber mit einer Reihe von Fehlerkorrekturen.
Nach dem Download des iOS-8.2-Updates auf einem iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6 oder 6 Plus findet sich dort unter den von Apple vorinstallierten Anwendungen die neue Apple-Watch-App, die eine Kopplung des Smartphones mit der im April in den Verkauf gehenden Smartwatch ermöglicht.
Abgesehen von dieser App, mit der im Augenblick im Grunde noch gar nichts angestellt werden kann, bringt iOS 8.2 laut Apple verbesserte Systemstabilität, kleinere Änderungen an der Health-App sowie mehrere Bugfixes mit.
